The 101 Mall was built in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, in 1970, making it one of the first enclosed shopping malls in Northern Ontario. The mall is located in city's downtown area, and has parking for 100 vehicles on site.[1] The mall offers a mix of retail and service outlets, including the Royal Bank of Canada, Clarica, Attorney General of Ontario, Government of Canada, Remax Inc. and the Ontario Court of Justice.
The mall is named for its location on provincial Highway 101, though its street address is on that highway's municipal name, Algonquin Boulevard. Its fellow enclosed shopping malls in Timmins are the smaller Porcupine Mall, east along Highway 101 between the communities of South Porcupine and Porcupine, and Timmins Square, the largest of the three, a major regional mall west along Highway 101 in the Mountjoy neighbourhood.
